Position Title: Systems Engineer – HCFL Backlighting

Essential Responsibilities:
Backlighting for Display Systems is a key segment of Specialty Lighting and currently an Imagination Breakthrough for GE C&I. Significant growth in LCD TVs as well as other markets has generated an enormous opportunity in backlighting solutions ranging from new T5 aperture designs to OLED active matrix. This work has synergies with GE Plastics and their optical films business. This program will be leveraging engineering and marketing resources in the US, Hungary and the Asia Pole.

The primary responsibility will be to provide a technology interface to key LCD TV customers in the Asia pole. Along with support from marketing, a qualified candidate will be instrumental in managing technical communications between the customer and Lighting technology.

1. Work closely with OEM customers in the Asia pole to understand critical needs for
　 backlighting LCD TVs.
2. Collaborate with global engineering teams responsible for systems engineering
　 activities in support of T5 HCFL Backlighting program. These activities include but
　 are not limited to, CTQ identification, QFD, specification development, reliability
　 requirements and test plans, and other processes that assist in transitioning
　 product ideas to NPI phase.
3. Develop system knowledge expertise to understand/develop internal or external
　 testing methodologies for component and system performance.
4. Support effort through product life cycle and provide ongoing customer interface for
　 near-term technology deliverables as well as contribute to long-term multi-

·Design/Redesign firmware, software include develop Chinese language pack for the
